Some links pay us a commission, and brokers can buy labelled placements. That is how the site is funded.
Affiliate links
When you open an account with a broker through a link on this site, the broker may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing and does not change the terms you get. Links that can earn a commission are marked as sponsored in the page code.
Placements
Brokers can pay for placement in labelled positions: the sponsored strip on the homepage, sponsored results at the top of the directory, positions beside the rankings and a sidebar position on profiles. Every paid placement carries a label saying so.
What it does not affect
Scores, regulatory records, complaint publication, survey outcomes and user reviews. A placement buys a labelled position, not a number. Rankings print the rule they are ordered by, and the figure beside each broker is the one the rule uses.
