Economic calendar
Scheduled economic releases and central bank decisions for the currencies retail forex traders trade, with the previous figure, the consensus forecast, the actual result and an importance rating. Times are shown in your local time zone.
Calendar data is supplied by TradingView. A forecast is the consensus of surveyed economists, not a prediction by this site.
What does the economic calendar show?
Scheduled economic releases and central bank events by country and time, with the previous figure, the consensus forecast and the actual result once it is published, and an importance rating for how much the market usually moves on it.
Why do spreads widen around calendar events?
Liquidity thins in the minutes before and after a major release, so the bid and ask move apart and stop orders can fill at worse prices. Most brokers' published typical spreads are measured outside these windows.
