The checks

The checks that decided this outcome, from the visit checklist.

Who else uses this address

2 other brokers in this set publish an address on Des Voeux Road. In a large commercial building that is unremarkable, though it is worth knowing when you are comparing firms that look unconnected.

Across the 2 other visits to that address, the team confirmed an office once and found nothing once. Among them are Bit Capital and Zhicheng.

What Hong Kong looks like across the set

Hong Kong accounts for 535 of the addresses the team has visited. Across the 534 other visits to the city, the team confirmed an office 138 times, found nothing 153 times and could not get access 243 times.

The reports either side of this one in Hong Kong are Grandly Financial Group, GREAT BRIGHT INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS LIMITED and GREAT ORIENT, and reading two or three together is usually more telling than any single visit.

This report follows the pattern for Hong Kong.

Reading the checks together

In short, the building was the one the address names, there was no sign for the company outside, it was not in the building directory and reception had nothing for it. No single check settles an outcome on its own, which is why each one is listed above rather than folded into a verdict.

What this outcome means

Office not found. The researcher could not identify the broker or relevant entity at the stated address.

A field survey confirms only what was observed at the stated address and time. It does not verify regulatory status, client-money handling, trading conditions or financial strength. The photographs are the team's own, taken at the location on the day, and may be cropped for privacy. Read how surveys are conducted.
