MITO: security at 東京都中央区日本橋室町1-7-1 says no such company

What the team found

MITO publishes 東京都中央区日本橋室町1-7-1, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan as its office. The address is in Tokyo. There was no signage for the company on the building. Security said there was no company of that name in the building.

The team recorded that MITO could not be found at the address it publishes.

The checks

The checks that decided this outcome, from the visit checklist.

What Tokyo looks like across the set

Tokyo accounts for 77 of the addresses the team has visited. Across the 76 other visits to the city, the team confirmed an office 47 times, found nothing 4 times and could not get access 25 times.

The reports either side of this one in Tokyo are Mizuho FX, Monex and Money Design, and reading two or three together is usually more telling than any single visit.

This report runs against the pattern for Tokyo, which is the reason to read the checks below rather than the badge alone.

Reading the checks together

In short, the building was the one the address names, there was no sign for the company outside, it was not in the building directory and reception could not say either way. No single check settles an outcome on its own, which is why each one is listed above rather than folded into a verdict.

What this outcome means

Office not found. The researcher could not identify the broker or relevant entity at the stated address.

A field survey confirms only what was observed at the stated address and time. It does not verify regulatory status, client-money handling, trading conditions or financial strength. The photographs are the team's own, taken at the location on the day, and may be cropped for privacy. Read how surveys are conducted.

If you represent MITO and believe this report is wrong, send a response and it will be published beside the report.
