The rating
A review carries a rating from one to five stars and a written account of what happened. The user rating on a broker's profile is the average of its published reviews, shown out of five with the number of reviews it rests on. It is separate from the editorial score and is never combined with it.
Who counts
One review per person per broker; a later review from the same account replaces the earlier one. Reviews from broker staff, agencies, affiliates or paid contributors are not counted in the rating and are labelled if published. Coordinated, automated or duplicated reviews are removed, and a removed review leaves the rating at once.
Verified experience
A review labelled verified experience is one where the moderator saw evidence of the relationship with the broker, such as an account statement, privately. The label says what was checked; it does not say that every statement in the review is correct. Evidence is never published.
What happens to a review
A submitted review is checked, then published or declined with the reason and an appeal route. A published review can be edited by its author, withdrawn, hidden while a report is checked, or removed with the reason shown. The broker can respond beside it.
Commercial relationships
Placement and commercial relationships do not change whether a review is published, what it counts for or how it is moderated.
